The SOCCA Early Career Intensivists working group provides new members and members who are early in their careers with the resources needed to ease the transition from trainee to practicing intensivist. This group meets several times a year and offers programming specific to early career needs. From our networking event at the annual meeting, to quarterly virtual and in person gatherings, we arrange for several opportunities for you to meet SOCCA leaders and learn more about how to navigate different issues that you may face as you are starting out, including a job fair, deciding on initial projects/positions, and how to network and negotiate. We also have a mentorship program to help meet your more personal goals. We are always looking for volunteers who are looking to get more involved, and we hope to meet all of you soon!
